MINUS SPACE is delighted to present the group exhibition Some Artists, highlighting several generations of artists whose works investigate and visualize artists, greater art historical moments, and related aesthetic research primarily through charts, maps, and diagrams. The exhibition will feature new and historical paintings, drawings, and prints by seven artists: David Diao, Mary Beth Edelson, Alfred Jensen, George Maciunas, Loren Munk, Ward Shelley, and John Zinsser.

MINUS SPACE is delighted to present the survey exhibition Julian Pretto Gallery. Organized in collaboration with artist John Zinsser, this is the first exhibition to examine the history and legacy of gallerist Julian Pretto (1945-1995) and his fabled downtown New York galleries, active during the mid-1970s through the mid-1990s.

John Zinsser: Recent Paintings, George Lawson Gallery, San Francisco, CA

We are pleased to be showing a selection of eight new paintings by New York artist John Zinsser. Zinsser works with an organic version of the grid, pulling exaggerated impastos off of flat grounds. He extends the physical range of traditional oil and canvas with spray enamels and resin additives to enable pronounced juxtapositions of figure and ground.
